Program Description

The Support Within Housing program provides basic support to individuals with hearing loss and suffering mental health issues to develop independent living skills. Includes case management, skills of daily living, banking, cooking and accessing community resources.

Access Information

To be eligible for support within housing, individuals must have a mental health diagnosis and must have hearing loss to be eligible for housing units. Limited general housing support is available to individuals with hearing loss that may be struggling with mild mental health issues. This support is available depending upon need and is structured in three-, six- and nine-month segments. Referrals can be made directly to Intake Coordinator. Average program length varies.
