Counselling and Treatment

Program Description

Individual counselling and group treatment are provided at Mental Health and Addictions Program by a multi-disciplinary team of: nurses, occupational therapist, social workers and mental health therapists to individuals with mental illness on an outpatient basis. We are a brief treatment model that provides ongoing assessment which guides the client's treatment planning needs. The goal for the brief treatment, solution-focused approach is to empower clients with new skills and techniques that promote positive change and independence. The program offers services to Chatham-Kent residents who have a serious, chronic mental illness. Grief counselling can be made available for active clients.
