Early Intervention

Program Description

The service has two components: specialized assessment, treatment and support services for individuals experiencing a first episode of psychosis and their families; and specialized education, training and consultation services for health professionals working in north-western Ontario. Model of service is early intervention for psychosis.

Access Information

The program serves people experiencing a first episode of psychosis or who are very early in onset of psychosis. Clients should have had one year or less of treatment, and referral from a health professional is preferred.
