Program Description

Mental Health Community Support Services is a partnership of eleven agencies that work to provide short and long term portable, flexible and individualized support to assist people in becoming citizens in their community with an improved quality of life. Services are provided to persons experiencing severe and persistent mental illness who require support in order to live in the community. Service is mobile, flexible and client directed. Model of service is strength-based case management service based in the community using elements of the recovery model and psychosocial rehabilitation.

Access Information

Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) acts as a central access point for the program. Referrals are accepted from individuals, family or professionals.
