Assertive Community Treatment Teams

Program Description

Treatment is provided by a multidisciplinary team to individuals with persistent and recurring mental illness from the ages of 16 to 65 years. Priority is given to frequent users of mental health services who have significant functional impairment and continuous high service needs due to serious mental illness. Individuals referred to this team must be under the direct care and supervision of a psychiatrist. Model of service is psychosocial rehabilitation and community-based mobile.

Access Information

Referrals are accepted from mental health care facilities, family and/or community providers. Individuals must meet criteria for admission and be under the direct care and supervision of a psychiatrist.
