Support Within Housing - Mental Health

Program Description

Transitional housing that provides supplemental on-site support to individuals with a mental illness wanting to transition towards fully independent living. Focus is on teaching and training of Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and other independence skills prior to the individual securing independent housing. Programs are fully voluntary. Stay may be short-term (30 days) or long-term to a maximum of one year.

Access Information

Must be involved with our CMHA Case Management services prior to applying to the units. Applicant fills out housing application and is then placed on a wait list, pending receipt of doctor's diagnosis of serious and persistent mental illness.
