Type of Service

Support Within Housing - Mental Health

Program Description

The ED RTF is a voluntary program that provides an opportunity for persons with an eating disorder to pursue recovery. The ED RTF provides 24-hour specialized programming rooted in psychosocial rehabilitation treatment, in a home-like, community setting. The ED RTF is a partnership with CMHA Middlesex and London Health Sciences Centre's Adult Eating Disorders Service (AEDS). Those residing at the ED RTF concurrently attend the AEDS Day Treatment Service (DTS) and receive medical and therapeutic support from the AEDS team. The partnership between CMHA Middlesex and LHSC allows clients to receive consistent care while participating in the DTS and EDRTF services. There are shared bedrooms, a shared bathroom, a kitchen for individuals to learn cooking skills as they progress through treatment, and a common living room.
