Program Description

Recovery West is a member and staff-run program that offers individual and group support and advocacy to assist members in reaching their recovery goals. This service provides: community-based group programming that supports personal growth and recovery; pre-vocational and vocational skill building; opportunities to build leadership skills; advocacy and assistance to access community resources including mental and physical health and wellness, life skills, addictions, employment, housing, and social supports; connections to the broader community through social recreation, volunteering, and continuing education; service in a safe and welcoming environment.

Access Information

Partnership Place encourages individuals to self-refer. Prospective members must have a primary diagnosis of mental illness and/or presenting mental health difficulty at the time. Appointments are booked directly with Partnership Place Intake, the time from initial contact to orientation may take Self, family or professional referrals accepted. Prospective members must have a primary diagnosis of mental illness and/or presenting mental health difficulty at the time. An initial intake assessment and attendance at an orientation is required. A psychiatric referral or risk assessment may be required.
