Type of Service

Short-Term Crisis Support Beds

Program Description

This eight-bed residential service will provide a safe, supportive and supervised residential setting for individuals requiring respite support. Individuals may choose to stay in the crisis/respite residence when they are experiencing a crisis as an alternative to seeking hospitalization or as a planned admission. As this is a non-medical crisis/respite residential service, individuals suitable to stay must not need the services of a hospital, be able to keep themselves safe from harm, utilize the supports offered, and respect the needs of others who are staying. Model of service is residential crisis support with a recovery focus.
