Program Description

Solutions for Youth is a pre-employment project for youth aimed at developing work habits and skills necessary to obtain and retain employment or to return to school. The program runs weekdays from 0900 - 1600 and the participants are paid minimum wage. The program provides workshops on resume/interview techniques, job search techniques as well as stress/anger management, conflict resolution, budgeting and self-esteem. Participants are involved in work placements.

Access Information

This program is accessed through Causeway Work Centre`s intake worker, who will assess eligibility into the program. The program is directed at youth who self-identify as having a barrier to employment, and are committed to finding employment.
